Teachers’ Day Celebration

Teachers’ Day Celebration
A Day Dedicated To Teachers

Teachers' Day is celebrated in India every year on 5 September to appreciate the role played by teachers in the life of students–the leaders of tomorrow. The day is also celebrated to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of the country and a visionary educator. This year also our school celebrated Teachers’ Day on September 5 with fervor and zeal. The event was organized to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of the teachers.

The whole event was meticulously planned by the students of Class XII and guided by their respective class teachers.

A warm welcome at the school gate by applying Tilak with the traditional music in the background was a pleasant surprise for all the teachers. The function started with the lighting of a lamp by Principal Madam and some teachers. The students also arranged some fun games for the teachers to entertain them. Each of the faculties was given a gift as a token of gratitude to show the acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development, wishing them a Happy Teachers Day.

All the teachers enjoyed and appreciated the program. A Cricket match was organized between two teams comprising of faculty members which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the teachers. The entire program was applauded by everyone present and will always remain a beautiful memory in the hearts of one and all present. Such a function goes a long way in renewing the sweet and sacred relationship between the students and the teachers.
